New “Scream” predictable but fun

The newest installment of the “Scream” franchise was released Friday to awaiting audiences eager to see how the series continues.
The movie comes out a little more than a year since the previous entry, which is about as quick as “Scream 2” released after the original film.
The plot sees the Carpenter sisters - Samantha (Melissa Barrera) and Tara (Jenna Ortega) - living in New York to get away from the tragedy of the previous year.
A new Ghostface has followed them, obviously, but there are some twists and turns to some of the franchise’s own tropes and call backs that make the story engaging.
